Terms of Service

Last updated: June 10, 2026 · These terms govern your use of BuilderBots.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using BuilderBots ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. The service

BuilderBots is a multi-agent software engineering platform. You describe what you want built, and a team of autonomous agents plans, writes, reviews, and merges code on your behalf. The Service orchestrates large language models and developer tools to produce pull requests.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Build, host, or distribute unlawful, infringing, or malicious software.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service or its agents.
  • Circumvent budget limits, rate limits, or tenant isolation controls.
  • Violate the rights of others or any applicable law or regulation.

5. Your content & code

You retain all ownership of the code, data, and content you provide and that the Service generates for you. We claim no ownership over your projects. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

Each project runs in a tenant-isolated workspace gated by row-level security at the database. We do not share your projects across tenants.

6. Billing & budgets

  • Usage may incur model and infrastructure costs, shown before work begins.
  • You can set per-task, per-project, and daily spend ceilings; the Service enforces them with a kill switch.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. AI-generated output

The Service produces code and other output using AI models. While agents review and test work before merging, AI output may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and validating output before relying on it in production. The Service is provided as a tool, not as professional engineering advice.

8. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and may perform maintenance that temporarily limits availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BuilderBots is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of AI-generated output.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
